Our Story
Our connection to India began long before Ram Nami existed. Over the years, our team spent time traveling across the country—meeting friends, exploring different states, and learning from artisans who carry generations of weaving knowledge in their hands. Each visit pulled us deeper into India’s colors, textures, spirituality, and living traditions.
The turning point came during a quiet morning in Varanasi, a city known for both its sacred atmosphere and its master weavers. Wandering through the old stone alleys, we found a small, well-known shop and picked up a handful of beautifully woven scarves—simple gifts for family back home. But when those scarves were unwrapped, the reaction was unforgettable. Everyone immediately loved the softness, the craftsmanship, and the sense of authenticity woven into each piece. That moment—just a few scarves shared around a living room—became the spark that would evolve into Ram Nami.
Inspired to share that same joy with others, we partnered with trusted friends and artisans across India to build something meaningful. From the beginning, our promise has been clear: go straight to the source, honor the craftsmen, and never compromise on quality or authenticity. Every scarf we offer is created in collaboration with skilled workshops and families who have preserved their techniques for generations.
Today, Ram Nami stands as a celebration of traditional Indian artistry—accessible to people around the world. Each scarf carries a story, a heritage, and the same warmth and inspiration that first moved us. And we’re proud to share that with you.
